Challenge: Create a unique voice for Diamond Crown Cigar's social media, and create a print advertisement for the release of the Black Diamond Cigar.
Solution: After researching competitor cigars Instagram accounts, we wanted to give viewers a unique experience when they followed Diamond Crown. Using Instagram's grid view allowed us to create a mosaic that when pieced together could create one giant post or ad for a couple of different events. I've also developed a number of video posts recently for the Black Diamond Cigar release.

Ariel homes specializes in purchasing large lots in the Florida country land and develops large luxury homes with exceptional quality. Ariel homes approached our team with a rebranding challenge. For this brand I was inspired by the idea of making impossibly good homes – homes built with such great craftsmanship, you wouldn’t believe it. Tag teaming this idea of impossibly good homes and impossible geometry (i.e Escher artwork), I set out to make a logo out of impossible geometry and translate the "impossibly good homes" concept into an print ad/brochure cover and website landing page.
This was a self-initiated project to explore food and hand lettering. All the letters were drawn and then redrawn on to a chalkboard. I then used those sketches as a guide for making the words out of food. This was a super fun learning experience and it was even more fun destroying the project afterwards.
For this campaign, I wanted to focus on the pure and natural ingredients of the cider since competitor ciders often are made mostly from sugar and random varieties of apples. To further create transparency between Cidre Pomme and the drinker, the bottle is suspended mid-slice with facts next to the bottle to ensure that this is what is in your drink.
Solution: For this labeled we wanted to emphasize the beer-making process since the beer is hand-crafted on site. The rest of the Badger State Brewing series is very hip and cool, so we wanted to continue that feeling in their Pilot Series label with simple, fun line drawings. There’s also a space where the brewer’s can hand write the type of beer, date the beer was brewed, and the batch number to give the label an overall hand-crafted, authentic feel.

This was a pitch for a site redesign for the CigarB•Que website. In an effort to push my skills as a designer, I decided to build a functioning prototype in Webflow to be able to show the client how the site would work.
BamMedical approached us with a challenge for a new print ad to feature their holistic wellness qualities that focused on getting people well through exercise, proper diet and mediation. Since people are usually transitioning from an unhealthy lifestyle, I wanted to incorporate the idea of shifting gears. To visually illustrate this, I created gears made out of healthy food and exercise equipment. This was a proposed concept.
American Heart Lighten Up Video Series
Working with the marketing team at American Heart Association we shot and edited 8 recipe videos for American Heart Association's Lighten Up! video series.
This was a great way to learn about how to put a video together with a client from the ground up. Using the recipes AHA provided for us, I wrote and laid out storyboards to follow on set. I also directed our cooking model through the shots and worked to gather all the materials for production including the props and ingredients. In addition to these tasks, I also edited the videos in Premier Pro for final output.
In addition to the video work, I had the opportunity to brand Lighten Up! by creating a logo and illustrating the end graphics.

As an aspiring IRONMAN, the chance to work on projects for IRONMAN Foundation was a dream come true. Not only would I be working on the 2014 Annual Report, Community Flyers, and website graphics, but I could help inspire athletes from around the globe to raise money for their communities. Here are examples of the Annual Report, community flyers, and website infographics that are featured on IRONMANFoundation.org.
Perla Del Mar Cigars are the Michelob Ultra of cigars, marketing towards the active, adventurous crowd. To highlight the product in an interesting way, I created a scene of active people discovering life's treasures whether it is diving into the ocean or scaling a mountain.
Challenge: Create completely new, illustrated advertisements for eye care supplies that stand out from the sea of mundane eye supply ads.
Solution: Every few months Eye Supply came to StudioMax with a general concept such as "Our People Make the Difference" or "You Need It. We Have It." Our job was to create unique illustrations and print advertisements/flyers/posters for each theme. The goal of the illustrations was to appeal to a young female demographic that might be a receptionist thumbing through an optometrist supply catalog to order supplies. These ads were incredibly fun to illustrate and have freedom to explore different styles.
Firefly Music Festival

During my time at Red Frog Events, the in-house design team was asked to brand a new music festival called Firefly. Within a couple of years, Firefly Music Festival grew to accommodate over 90,000 festival goers over 4 days and feature chart topping musical acts. I was fortunate enough to grow with this brand and work on everything from the very first logo concepts to the 2nd year merchandise. These two posters and the Billboard Magazine cover were some of my favorite projects.
